This is Klean colors lavenbaby and holocrome :)

I must admit I do like crackle... even tho its so common and popular now :) I decided I wanted my own pale, pastel purple crackle. I mixed some pigments with a white crackle and the pastel purple crackle was born.
Sorry about the photo of my pudgey little toes xD but I wanted to show you all my creation hehehe.

I had also been playing around with crackle and some blank rings I made :) Crackle looks so lovely as rings dont you think?

Hi everyone, If you invite people to my blog or post about my blog then when I get to 100 followers I will start a Giveaway!! SO spread the word!!!!~ <3

Yesterday my fiancee went out to buy potatoes.. he took a little longer then I thought it would take.. When he got back he told me to put the potatoes away... and when I did i found that he had bought me the Barry M pink crackle!! Yay :D It was a nice surprise <3 I'll post pictures tommorow of the crackle :)

I also broke one of my nails in my sleep last night x_x Idk how it happened.. I must have been figiting like mad lol. well it only took about a mm of of my nail length so its not that bad ^^;

These nails were painted with acrylic paint and a custom holo that I made. Stargazers glitter is really good! :)

I've been trying out crocheting with wire :) I think it turned out really well <3
Recently I bought the Candy floss Revlon polish and I must say it is lllloooovvvveeelyy <3 The scent lasted over 4 days!! Even with a topcoat and marbling on top!! Its got a lovely shimmer in it to. To me I think its a polish princesses would wear because its pale, pink and shimmery!!

The light pink is candyfloss and the darker pink is strawberry electric. Both are Revlon.

I really like bright and colourful things... like these earrings I made...

Also my nails this week are nice and bright :)

I used the sponge technique and Revlon tropicana and bubble gum :)
These nails always remind me of tiny little shoes :) this is a naural nail overlay with acrylics. hehe I did these back in college when I was training as a nail tech.. I've always loved ribbons and bows.
Hmmm I need to get this blog up to atleast 50 followers before I can do any kind of give-away. So please invite or blog about my blog so that you can all win some lovely prizes :)

Hmm my camera is playing up and keeps killing the memory card :( so it has to be reformatted a lot so I loose a lot of photos. So a lot of manicure pictures have been deleted before i could save them. Dont worry tho! i'll do more mani's or pedi's and get some nice pictures for you.

This is a old-ish picture (about 3 weeks ago) I thought i had already posted it , but i guess not :) so here it is~ A flowery blue pedicure. inspired by winter turning to spring <3 I used acrylic paints and O.P.I - Absolutely Alice

I thought I would also post a swatch of Me Me Me - Meteor  Its a lovely shimmery gunmetal colour the shimmer is blue/pink and really tiny.. kind holo :) its a really pretty polish and super afordable.

Now I will show you a ring I made :) I make and sell jewelry as one of my hobbies.. I've been making jewelry for about 4 years now. I think seeing this is a crafts and nails blog I should really put some of my crafts on it lol. So starting from now I will be showing you the odd piece of jewelry and crafts <3

This picture was taken with the light box i made to :) the writing on the ring is super tiny.. just under 1mm n_n

(Sorry everyone this post was due a few days ago but something bad happened so I had to put off writing)

Hi you nail lovers! so today I decided to try my hand at Layering polishes :) So I took this bright reddy pink (MUA) colour and a pearl colour with shimmer (Me Me Me - Moonbeam)and started playing.
I used 2 coats of MUA's pink (I forget which number) and 1 coat of moonbeam.

This was the outcome :) (taken in sunlight) Isn't it gorgeous?? It made a lovely Fire colour <3
I then painted a little design around the Halfmoon area :) I cant just leave nails plain hehehe.
This pic was unfortunately taken with flash. by the time everything had been sorted out the sun had gone away :(. I then topcoated the nails and tada <3

Hope you enjoyed this post :) I will try and post more often!! :D

hii :) so today I decided to have a little fun with watermarble because I couldn't decide what polish to wear I decided to wear them all :D

I used : Past present and fuchsia (OPI), Splish Splash (Me Me Me), Orange was a millennium nails striper, green and yellow were neon colours from Claire's accessories :)

As with most things the colours look alot better in person :) While trying to capture a good pic of the nails my kitten decided to be nosey :)

So I took a photo of her :) Her name is Moo <3
hallo thar~  I hope you enjoy this tutorial, I wanted to show how to create a really nice fade effect with nail polish :)

firstly you will need :
Nail polish (2 colours)
Nail polish remover
cotton pads or cotton buds
a sponge (preferably cut really small)
base + topcoat (altho I love the matt effect using the sponge gives so sometimes I dont topcoat)

I used me me me 30 splish splash (Its a beautiful colour)
and a polish I made (a lovely inky blue/purple)
Apply basecoat to prevent staining and to help your manicure last longer.
Then add some of your darker colour to your sponge and dab it onto the bottom of your nail. Make sure you dab it right by the cuticle first because that part needs to be darkest and gettting lighter/less polish towards the tip of the nail.
Repeat 2 more times till you have the colour as dark as in the bottle still making sure it gets lighter towards the tip like in the photo above.
Now add your lighter colour on a fresh part of the sponge and dab ontothe tip of your nail and then lightly dabbing it up onto the darker colour.
Should now look like this. Now reapeat 2 more times so the polish on the tip is the same shade as in the bottle.
Then clean up around your nails with polish remover :)
finnished nails should look like this. You can top coat them if you want too as it does mean the polish will stay on a little longer. when I went to take this photo the sun disapeared :(
wow today was great in the magical land of nails.. whilst out doing my weekly shop (you know, boring food/house supply shopping) I found a store selling the crackle polishes in big 15ml bottles in black, silver and white. I immediately jumped up and down with a big grin on my face in the middle of the store :) I was so happy to find these. I already had Barry M's black crackle so I picked up a silver and white one of these ones. They are W7 (warpaint) brand. Also on my shopping trip I wandered into a little polish food store.. I definitely wasn't expecting polish in here but I found a little section at the back which had one colour of polish for only 50p this was Avons "romance". Its actually a really nice colour and goes on well so I'm pleased with that little find to :)
Here is a photo of my find :)
The W7 ones are called "earthquake"
Here is me wearing them (I put them over the polish from the last post )
The white goes on a little watery but turns out ok once its crackled. The silver is quite a thick silver which is nice as i feared it would be to thin and show the colour underneath. the last finger is the Avon Romance colour.

Today I decided to try my hand at frankening which is where you mix your own nail polish colours from other polished or pigments :)

This is what I used. A old white colour. A old small bottle of a pearl coloured polish and some green eye pigment from MUA.

The outcome is really nice :) for my first try haha. Its a pastel seafoamy green :D I really like it, very shimmery :)
Thats all from me today~ happy nailing
hmm so i want to do a little review on 2 of O.P.I 's colours.. normally they do great polish.. I love alot of them.
so my review on o.p.i whats with the cattitude and rumples wiggin is that's its terrible.. the colours are great .. but it takes 3 coats and whats more you have to wait between 5 and 15 mins for each layer to dry before you do the next! or otherwise it will just stay smudgable. also its like plasticy so if you do get some on
the skin and your removing it with a orangestick and cotton wool, it peels.
which pulls up some of the polish on the nail and makes a big mess.. I'm disappointed in these polishes. all the other o.p.i's are great. just not these. idk what they did wrong :/ I've read alot of the reviews and everyone has experienced the same thing..

Now I'm not being shy to speak my mind here. Like I said nearly all O.P.I polishes are great just not these 2 and I'm not going to lie about it.

anyway here is whats with the cattitude 3 coats.

as you can see.. how messy! esp around the cuticles. thats because if you try and tidy it will pull the rest of the polish and make it look horrible! normally I dont get the polish on the skin but ocassionally some does get there, esp after doing 3 coats. It also applies very streaky but luckly its ok by the 3rd coat.

This is the finnished manicure taken with no flash because flash washes out the colour. Again how messy. Because of this its taken over a hour to do a simple halfmoon manicure.

/End Rant
Hey everyone~ I've decided that I might start swatching a few polishes and reviewing them every now and again.
Today I thought I might have a play around with some China Glaze colours
I also wanted to try out a scotch tape mani :) seen here http://chloesnails.blogspot.com/2010/12/checkers-anyone.html
follow her blog! she has some awesome ideas <3

first after applying basecoat i did 2 layers of "turned up turquoise"

 without flash~
 with flash
topcoated :) I used sally hansen Mega shine topcoat
ok now Ive had these little paper punchers for awhile as I used to use them when working with fimo clay and I was thinking about the tape mani's so I wanted to try this out.. so I punched out a star from my tape then laid the tape over my thumb and painted with "the ten man" from China glaze. peeled it off and there i have my own star :D
the star on my thump and the tape (I used masking tape as i dont have scotch tape and it works fine :) )
Then I did check board effect on the rest of the nails using tape, this is with flash. Its not very clear with flash so I took a photo without it, for some reason with no flash on the camera takes blurred pictures x_x
Finnished mani with no flash <3

Also dont you just love my flower/leopard print pj bottoms? :D

overal  turned up turquoise is a great colour as like most china glaze polishes it drys matt. I love it more with top coat on because then you can really see the hidden shimmer :)
the ten man is also good because it has alot of glitter in is aswells as the silver colour so its real sparkly.

Thats all from me for today :) be sure to leave a comment. I'll get back to trying to find "flakkies" in the uk i cant find any flakie polish anywhere here! D:
